Tasty Tidbit: Legacy "Raider Nation"

As a Bay Area native, I had a 50/50 chance of being an Oakland Raiders fan.  I’m more than a fan; I’m family.  My father, a professional football player, played his entire career for the Oakland Raider’s.  As a young girl, he was larger than life and football remained an integral part of our lives, even after he retired.

My father passed away suddenly when I was young, but his legacy lives on to this day.  The Raider organization has continued to impact my family since my father’s passing.  For example, the Raider organization ensured that my husband had permission to propose to me on the 50-yard line in front of 50,000 fans on Christmas Eve!

Football has remained a constant in our family and continues to be passed down to the next generation.  When it’s football season; it’s always Raider Nation– win or lose.

While football has impacted my life, it certainly does not define me.  I am passionate about my family, friends, career, and all that I do—seeking to positively impact everybody with whom I interact.
